IGNITE
Alumni guiding the next generation
Running since the mid-2000s. The tenth edition was held in 2014, the thirteenth in 2017.
Across its editions IGNITE has covered engineering and entrance examinations, medicine and allied healthcare, pure sciences, agriculture and veterinary science, government jobs and defence, time management, and scholarships. Sessions are kept short and interactive, with handouts, and senior alumni join where they can.
It began as a career and guidance workshop for students of classes 10 to 12, and it still runs on the same idea: the people who sat in those same classrooms come back and tell students what they found outside.
